The Outpatient Rehabilitation Department serves adult individuals of all ages in Ann Arbor and surrounding communities, Glacier Hills’ residents, and individuals returning home upon discharge from The Care & Rehabilitation Center.
The Outpatient Rehabilitation Department, as an integral part of our highly acclaimed Glacier Hills campus, provides outpatient services including physical, speech, and occupational and aquatic therapies. The Outpatient Rehabilitation Department program offers intensive, comprehensive, coordinated, multidisciplinary rehabilitation, and our full range of therapy services provide our patients the specialized treatment they need throughout their entire rehab process.
Our rehab program and process are individualized to our patients' therapy needs, and together our expert team and their physician work in collaboration to develop a treatment plan. Our patient treatment plan includes a full range of therapy services provided by skilled clinicians, and board-certified physical therapists, speech-language pathologist and occupational therapists whose priority is to strive and achieve positive outcomes for each and every patient in our rehab program.

Conditions Treated
The Outpatient Rehabilitation Department treats patients with arthritis, lupus and fibromyalgia, and those recovering from cardiac surgery, orthopedic surgical procedures including fractures and total joint replacement, neck and back injuries, and sprains, tendonitis, sports injuries and joint disorders. Neurological impairments treated include amputations, cerebral aneurysm, CVA (stroke), Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and spinal cord injury.
