McAuley Rehabilitation and Wellness to Close

After careful consideration, Trinity Health Senior Communities (THSC) has made the difficult decision to close McAuley Rehabilitation and Wellness, its 98-bed skilled nursing and short-term therapeutic rehabilitation community in Muskegon, MI. Michigan’s Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs has acknowledged that McAuley’s closure plan has met the necessary requirements to cease operations by July 14, 2024.

“We have shared this news with our valued employees, residents, and resident families,” said Becky Lund, THSC’s regional vice president of operations for Michigan. “Our team at McAuley Rehabilitation and Wellness is working closely with residents and families to make sure their transition to another community is as seamless as possible.”

“We want to thank our dedicated colleagues who continue to care for our residents,” Ms. Lund said. “It has been our honor to serve the community at this location, and we look forward to continuing serve older adults at our other Trinity Health Senior Communities locations.”
