Family Support & Education

We recognize that when a loved one is impacted by memory loss, members of their family are impacted as well. Each month, The Alverno is pleased to offer a support group held by our pastoral care coordinator who is a certified dementia practitioner and trainer. The group benefits Alverno family members, as well as individuals in the community who are impacted by Alzheimer's and dementia related illness.

The support group is held the 2nd Thursday of the month at 1:30 pm.

In addition to a monthly support group, The Alverno offers community education that focuses on a wide variety of dementia topics.
