Your Life Your Way at The McAuley

Connecticut Magazine refers to West Hartford as “One of the Great Places to Retire in Connecticut,” and we can’t argue. The McAuley’s neighbors include the University of Saint Joseph, which has renowned undergraduate and graduate programs, and picturesque Elizabeth Park, noted on the national register of historic places for its more than 100 acres of green space, recreational facilities, walking loops, and delightful cafe. Close to some of greater Hartford’s most acclaimed fine and performing arts venues, dining establishments, and shopping destinations, The McAuley has the three things that matter in property: location, location, and location!

mcauley leadership

When you move into The McAuley, you are home, and our team considers itself a part of your extended family. We take great pride in providing you with the best in hospitality, service, and integrity.

“Our professional team treats The McAuley’s residents with the same respect and courtesy as they do their own family members. Our colleagues are attentive, compassionate, empathetic, patient, and encouraging. They listen. It’s not enough for them just to see our residents satisfied with life at The McAuley – they want each resident to be delighted with everything from our life enrichment programming to dining to housekeeping – their highest priority is to make certain our residents are living as independently as they can and feel at home here.”

“My mother-in-law lives at the McAuley and we all, the entire family, absolutely love it! Wonderful, friendly residents, and wonderful, friendly, amazing staff who treat the residents like family. We enjoy visiting my mother-in-law, and also seeing all the new friends she, and we!, have made! It looks and feels like home.”
