A Great Place to Call Home
Arts & Entertainment
Whether you’re interested in galleries or games, orchards or farmer’s markets, our region offers something for everyone! Art enthusiasts may enjoy a Sunday afternoon with the Ypsilanti Symphony Orchestra, or an afternoon at the Riverside Arts Center, art gallery, or museum. Sports fans have several options to take in a game – choose from local favorites Eastern University of Michigan or follow the Big 10 and take in a University of Michigan game. If you’re looking for an afternoon at an orchard or Farmer’s Market, we recommend you check out Rowe’s Produce Farm or Wiard’s Orchards & County Fair. Several farmer’s markets are available nearby as well.
Restaurant’s, Delis & Coffee
From breakfast to brunch, breweries to coffee shops, you’ll find it all in Ypsilanti! The options are endless. Visit anytime of the day and enjoy a wide variety of local favorites. Grab a quick cup of coffee or sandwich or plan a special evening out and enjoy a sit-down meal with family and friends.
Unique Retail
The Depot Town shopping district offers numerous antique and collectible shops, Farmer's Market, gourmet coffee and specialty shops. Be sure to stop by one of the area's three museums: Ypsilanti Automotive Heritage Collection, detailing Ypsilanti's role in the automotive industry, the Ypsilanti Fire Museum and the Ypsilanti Historical Museum.
Outdoor Recreation
If you enjoy the outdoors, you’ll enjoy the Ypsilanti region. Ypsilanti expands beyond the downtown districts to include 23,000+ acres of public park and recreation areas that help make up Washtenaw County, offering an abundance of outdoor opportunities. Just minutes from town, you can find golfing, mountain biking, canoeing, hiking, or simply walking around or setting up a hammock while you relax and take in the beautiful outdoors and natural scenery.
